Cosmpolitan Addie…Getting ready for church one Sunday, I was wearing a dress shirt but yet still in shorts at this point-Addie saw me from the waist up and said “You look handsome Daddy. As I walked by where she could see that I still had my shorts on, She inquired, “Are you planning to wear those shorts Dad?”
In town…Dad, are you taking a “long-cut”. As opposed to a short cut.
I took Addie to the bathroom at Reunion Arena once and she could not help but glance over and see the row of urinals. She told me; “Those must be the potties for babies.”
Coming home late tonight we saw a skunk. Addie (at 4) commented, “That skunk must be nocturnal.”
“Do they call it orange juice because its orange?”

“Hey Dad, I put all those puzzles out for you-over there in the floor.”
I said, “Oh Thanks?” She replied, “They are yours now, so you will need to be sure and pick them up.”
6.27.05 I was working out, and Addie said, “What are you doing dad?”
I said, “I am working out”.
Addie replied, “Do you mean working in?” (Since I was inside)
6.26.05 Leaving a party, Addie asked to grab a cookie to go. Pam told her she could have ONE. She grabbed two, and said “Here dad, this one is for you.” I really didn’t want one, but thought it was very nice of her to think of me.
We were barely out the door when she finished hers and asked if she could have mine!
2..4.05 10:13p.m. Addie is lying in our bed, obviously not wanting to leave, with mom when I walk in…”Hey Dad, you wanna watch Leno?”I don’t know about that!
Last week… “Daddy, type in “Ponies” at Gooble.”
Translation: “Could you search My Little Pony at Google?”
Wednesday March 9th
Addie and I graded the dirt in the back this afternoon. Addie asked me, “Do you like this work Daddy?” I replied, “Not Really.” She said, “I like it really.”

Pam cut Addie’s sandwiches into star and moon shapes, seeing there was a follow-up lesson to learn from Sunday-”Look Addie, your sandwiches are shaped like a star and moon!” And who made the stars and the moon Addie?”

We are in Wacko tonight with Mom & Dad
This afternoon there had to be a hundred birds in the back yard feasting on bird seed that Dad provided. Mom told Addie to go to the window and see them all. Addie walked to the window and knocked on the window and waved, all so startling…as all 100+ birds quickly took off, Addie turned around and said, “They must have run out of bird seed!”

Addie asked to use some markers yesterday and Pam told her that she can’t use them because they are not washable. This morning Addie asked, “Did you wash those markers yet”?

On the way out the door to work, I told Addie I was going to work. She asked, “Are you going to teach those kids how to draw?” I said yes. She said, “Haven’t they learned yet?”
